‘Wherever you go, there you are’…. Since returning home to the River Tay, I realise what beauty I bring with me from every stage of life, what kind of woman the wee girl who once stood here became, what has been able to bloom by holding an open heart.

This painting of an albino humpback with a home and garden blossoming on her and a light radiating from her is a way of honouring every stage, of celebrating a love of adventure and home in equal measure. The wee red roof holds space for future dreams, the telescope oriented upwards to the mystery. She is so special.

This is officially the largest print I’ve ever made at 36 x 24 inches, big and beautiful, and there are only going to be 20 of them, each hand finished slightly different with some gilded shimmer and an authenticity certificate, and a personal letter. Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper.
